The VoiceMaster Inspires Future Innovators in Cebu

Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales has yet again inspired hundreds of youth in the Cebu leg of the 21st STI National Youth Convention on January 12, 2016 at the CAP Center in Cebu City.

With his talk entitled “The Innovator’s Creativity,” the VoiceMaster stepped on stage and energized the crowd with his introductory icebreaker and funny banters. He then went on to share his own story, on how he has continuously innovated to build his business, found his advocacies and establish his brand as the VoiceMaster.


As he began speaking about innovation, Pocholo gave a simple yet powerful idea on how to develop the mindset of an innovator. For the VoiceMaster, it is of utmost importance to think like an innovator in order to come up with innovative ideas, whether for business or for personal use.


The VoiceMaster also inspired the students to keep their imagination alive, and to have a vision for themselves and for the community. He explained that innovation is not just about ideas. More importantly, innovation is about having the HEART… the passion to make the world a better place. And that is his challenge to the participants: to innovate for positive social change.

The VoiceMaster Kicks Off 2016 with a Talk on Innovation

About a thousand Tourism and Business students of STI College West Negros University in Bacolod gathered at the Garden Royale for the 21st STI National Youth Convention. With the theme “I Will Lead Innovation,” the convention aims to inspire the STI students to develop an innovative mindset in relation to their chosen career path.

Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales took the stage as the second speaker to talk about “The Innovator’s Creativity.” In his talk, Pocholo shared his own experience on how he applied innovation to rise to his niche in voice acting as the most recognized voice artist in the country today. He also shared his own thoughts and principles on innovation, and how one’s imagination and power of the mind can be utilized in order to “do something better than it was ever done before,” which for Pocholo is the true essence of innovation. He even shared some stories about the world’s greatest accidental discoveries that turned out to be innovations that we still use today.


Just like in all his other talks, Pocholo never failed to mesmerize the audience with his words of wisdom and inspiration. “What is your HASHTAG idea?” was the question he left in the hearts and minds of the audience, encouraging them to dream and dream big… and of course, to believe that achieving that dream is possible for them.


The 21st STI National Youth Convention was divided into 9 legs – Baguio, Naga, Iloilo, Bacolod, Cebu, Metro Manila, General Santos, Davao, and Cagayan De Oro – and is being conducted from December 2015 to March 2016.

The VoiceMaster Speaks at the 6th Bicol Youth Congress in IT

Almost 1,000 Information Technology students from all over the Bicol region attended the 6th Bicol Youth Congress on Information Technology (BYCIT) on December 10-12, held at the Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges in Nabua, Camarines Sur. With the theme “WEBeyond: Widening Experience Beyond ICT,” the seminar aims to equip the IT students of the region with additional knowledge in their field as well as about their future career in Information Technology.

Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales brought the house down with his talk about “The Art of Voice Acting in IT”. The young crowd watched in amazement as the VoiceMaster did one character voice after the other – from cartoon characters to famous personalities. He even played a short radio drama for the audience where he voiced all the characters and sound effects!

More than mesmerizing the audience with his voice acting skills, Pocholo captivated the students’ hearts with inspiration and words of wisdom on how they can make the most out of their youth by being an inspiration to their fellow students. He challenged the students to become the modern-day Jose Rizal, whom he considers the epitome of greatness and excellence in every Filipino. He also challenged the students to go beyond thinking about their future career, but more importantly, thinking of the LEGACY they can create by pursuing their passion and living their dreams.

The VoiceMaster Speaks at the 11th Philippine Blogging Summit

The 11th Philippine Blogging Summit, dubbed as #iBlog11, was held on December 4 and 5, 2015 at the UP College of Law in Quezon City. This 2-day event is a gathering of novice and veteran bloggers, where they get to learn tips and techniques from speakers on various blogging topics.

Over a dozen featured speakers shared their expertise on topics such as social media, blogging for beauty products, podcasting, blogger ethics, among many others.


Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales was one of the speakers on the first day of the summit, with the topic “Opportunities & Challenges in Podcasting and Video Blogging”. In a short span of time, the VoiceMaster presented valuable information on how bloggers can utilize podcasting and video blogging to effectively reach their audience on the internet. Being an expert on the use of voice, he also shared how powerful the voice is in sending out messages – even on the web – that can move and change the world. Pocholo labelled himself as the “Proadcaster,” and further went on to say how he is a combination of a podcaster and broadcaster in his advocacies, like Voice of the Youth Network.

Discovering the Extra in your Ordinary: a Motivational Talk for Banking and Finance Students

On December 4, over 200 Sophomore students of Banking and Finance in the Polytechnic University of the Philippines Sta. Mesa gathered at the COC Theater for a unique seminar experience which was entitled “Discover the Extra in your Ordinary.” This half-day seminar was organized by the section officers, which aimed to bring learning to the students not just for their respective field, but also in their personal well-being.

Two speakers were invited to speak on the event, sharing their knowledge and experience on living an extraordinary life. The first speaker was Herald “Kyut” Villarca. Kuya Kyut, as he is fondly called, started his talk with a couple of games to break the ice and raise the energy of the crowd. He then went on with a funny yet insightful talk, sharing the stories of famous personalities in history that he considered extraordinary – Princess Diana, General Antonio Luna, Mark Zuckerberg, among many others. He also told his own life story, including the hardships of putting himself through school as a working student in order to fulfill his dreams. He inspired the audience to live an extraordinary life by holding on to their vision and never giving up.


Ada Cuaresma Speaks on the Science of Happiness


The second speaker for the event was Voice Care Philippines Executive Director Ada Cuaresma. After an intermission number, Ada briefly talked about the Science of Happiness, and how positivity can make an ordinary day extraordinary. She briefly told the story of her life, then went on to talk about attracting positivity by maintaining a positive attitude. Ada also shared 5 simple yet powerful tips on how to harness one’s positive emotions – embrace change, be intentional, be grateful, seize the day, and smile. She ended her talk with a strong statement: HAPPINESS IS AN INSIDE JOB.


The half-day motivational seminar ended on a positive note with showcase of talents, games and raffle.

The VoiceMaster Speaks at the ASEAN Youth Expo

On November 20-24, 2015, thousands of young people from the different ASEAN countries gathered at the Pluit Village in Jakarta, Indonesia for the 2015 ASEAN Youth Expo.

The government of Indonesia, in partnership with the OTP Foundation, held the ASEAN Youth Expo 2015 with the aim to encourage the young people of the ASEAN to contribute to their dreams in fostering great unity to ASEAN countries and cultivate its strengths. With the theme “The ASEAN Action,” the lineup of activities centered around marine life and how it can be cultivated through different aspects such as modern entrepreneurship, youth capacity development, team work, and marine ideologies.


The week-long event featured cultural performances, workshops, education and scholarship opportunities and a marine expo.

Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales was invited to speak at the expo for the public talk show they called “The Golden Pitch,” which happened on November 21st. He was joined by other youth leaders and entrepreneurs onstage to share their expertise on how to pitch in an idea that can be turned into a business, advocacy or social enterprise. The VoiceMaster talked about personal branding, and shared his expertise on how someone needs to be able to communicate WHO THEY ARE in order for people to buy in to the idea that they are pitching. He delivered some inspiring and motivating words to the young audience, especially on how each person can live out their passions and aspirations in order to inspire other people to do the same. The VoiceMaster encouraged the audience to take action and bring out the greatness that’s within them. Of course, the VoiceMaster was prodded to showcase his voice acting talent by imitating famous cartoon characters.


With the ASEAN Integration, events such as the ASEAN Youth Expo becomes another step towards achieving the ASEAN vision 2020 – to become  a concert of Southeast Asian nations, outward looking, living in peace, stability and prosperity, bonded together in partnership in dynamic development and in a community of caring societies.

The VoiceMaster Inspires Junior Marketers in PJMA’s Juan Big Idea in Baguio

On November 15, 2015, Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales inspired and motivated over 3,000 marketing students in PJMA’s Juan Big Idea – North Luzon Edition, held at the University of Baguio Gymnasium. With the theme “A Voyage Towards Marketing Eminence,” the event featured 3 distinguished speakers who shared their knowledge and expertise on the topic of personal branding.

The VoiceMaster energized the afternoon as he took the stage to do his talk entitled “Personal Branding: Social Media Management.” As with every talk, his energetic and dynamic presence on stage easily captivated the audience, coupled with his “sample” of an army of character voices. But of course, he also shared his knowledge and expertise in line with the event’s theme. As a personal branding expert, Pocholo shared how he has established himself as an authority in the field of voice – not only in voice acting, but also in broadcasting and motivational speaking. He shared tips on how anyone can brand themselves, their business and their advocacy simply by having an online presence especially in social media. Furthermore, he also shared his knowledge about reputation management, as it is important not only to be easily found online, but to also make sure that what they find is remarkable.

The VoiceMaster Inspires 5,000 Student Leaders at CLASS-PAM 1.0

The Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center in San Fernando, Pampanga was jam-packed with 5,000 student leaders from several public and private schools in Central Luzon for the Central Luzon Assembly of Student Leaders – Pampanga 1.0, or “CLASS-PAM 1.0.” The event was held on November 5, 2015 with the theme “Diversity on the Road to Convergence.”

CLASS-PAM 1.0 was greeted with an entertaining and captivating talk from Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales, who was the first speaker for the event. His talk entitled “Inspiring the Youth Today for a Motivated Future” centered around leadership principles to inspire young people towards becoming a person of influence in their own way.


After breaking the ice with a simple yet energizing activity, the VoiceMaster shared his own journey as a youth leader – as a student all the way to founding one of the biggest youth media organizations in the country, Voice of the Youth Network. He also talked about Dr. Jose Rizal, our national hero, and introduced Rizal’s qualities and accomplishments that make him a timeless epitome of greatness and excellence of the Filipino people. With this in mind, he challenged the youth to become a modern-day Rizal in their own right, by becoming an inspiration to their fellow youth.


The VoiceMaster also inspired the participants to find their calling in life, and take action to its fulfillment. He ended the talk with his famous Pochology quote, “Availability is your best ability,” which served as a final commission to the student leaders to respond to the opportunities they encounter in life.

The VoiceMaster Speaks at the 2015 International Social Science Camp in Iloilo City

Hundreds of delegates from all over the country and in neighboring countries gathered together for the 2015 International Social Science Camp, held at the Iloilo Central Elementary School in Iloilo City from October 24-28, 2015. The event was organized by the Borres Youth Leadership Institute in partnership with the University of San Agustin Social Science Department.

On its third year, the International Social Science Camp featured the theme “Eliminating Social Inequities towards Global Unity.” The camp aims to provide venues and opportunities for young people to develop their basic understanding of various social science disciplines in order to become a community of young and responsible global leaders of the future.


Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales took the stage on the 4th day of the camp, to speak about “The Role of Media in Eliminating Social Inequities.” Having started his broadcasting career at the young age of 16, Pocholo shared how he utilized the power of broadcast media to promote and develop his advocacy on empowering the youth, then and now. He also shared how to merge the power of broadcast media and social media in this day and age in order to become agents of positive social change.

Hundreds of students, professionals and entrepreneurs filled the SM Megatrade Convention Center on October 25, 2015 for an afternoon filled with inspiration, motivation and empowerment from the country’s hippest, coolest and most sought-after young motivational speakers of this generation: Al Ian Barcelona, Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales, Johner Fernandez, and Lloyd Luna.


The event highlighted L.I.F.E. topics – leadership, interpersonal skills, financial literacy and entrepreneurship. Each of the four speakers captivated the audience with their wit, charm, and inspiring and motivating presentations.


AIB Training’s Founder, Al Ian Barcelona, opened the event with his topic “Leadership Disciplines that Guarantee Greatness.” He shared the qualities that define an excellent leader, as well as tips on how to be an effective leader.

Up next was the VoiceMaster of the Philippines, Pocholo Gonzales, who talked about “Interpersonal Skills and its Power to Conquer.” He started his talk by sharing his story as a voice artist, broadcaster, motivational speaker and trainer. He then shared valuable insights on communication – intrapersonal communication, listening, and do’s and dont’s for communicating effectively.


Mr. Enter-Trainer Johner Fernandez took the stage as the third speaker, who spoke about “Financial Breakthrough for Every Juan.” He shared his humble beginnings as a company janitor to being a successful entrepreneur, author and motivational speaker. Johner spoke about what a financial breakthrough is, the signs that a person needs a financial breakthrough, and the steps needed to achieve it.


Last but not the least, Pambansang Inspirasyon Lloyd Luna talked about “Entrepreneurship, The Unexpected Journey.” He also shared his humble beginnings as he was building his career as a writer and motivational speaker. He also inspired the audience with his anecdotes about dreams, success and life.

The Dynamic Duo Speaks at Philippine Normal University

The Faculty of Behavioral and Social Sciences of the Philippine Normal University held its Lecture Series on Wednesday, October 21. With the theme “The Student Motivation in 21st Century,” over 300 students filled the audio-visual room to learn from public speaking’s Dynamic Duo – Venchito “SEO Kid” Tampon and Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales.

The VoiceMaster opened the event with his talk about Understanding the Generation Z. He gave an entertaining yet interesting talk about how the young people of today are greatly influenced by technology. He also entertained the audience with his wit, humor, and of course, voice acting talent.


The VoiceMaster’s talk was followed by SEO Kid Venchito Tampon, who talked about The Real Secret to Success and Happiness. Venchito shared his journey and life lessons learned as he treaded the path of being a young entrepreneur.

The VoiceMaster Teaches Public Speaking to Medical Students

In celebration of FEU’s Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation’s Medicine Week, Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales conducted a Public Speaking Seminar on September 30, 2015 at FEU-NRMF’s Alfonoso Hall. Over 200 students were entertained, inspired and motivated as Pocholo and his team of motivational speakers gave tips and techniques on how to become effective public speakers in the medical profession.


The seminar began with Voice Care Philippines’ Executive Director, Ada Cuaresma, who shared her journey on working with the VoiceMaster to become a motivational speaker and trainer. She also shared the life lessons she has learned along the way, especially as a volunteer. Her public speaking tips were about how to connect with the audience, whom she regarded as the most important part of any public speaking event.


Ada then introduced another member of their organization, JC Garcia, who is Creativoices’ main Talent Manager and Coordinator. As a trainer and host, JC shared tips and techniques on how to carry one’s self on stage during presentation – how to stand, move on stage, and how to use hand gestures for effective public speaking.


Last but definitely not the least, the VoiceMaster finally came up on stage to motivate and inspire the students not only in public speaking, but in pursuing the medical profession with passion and the heart of service for others. He also talked about his career as a voice artist, and his journey to being the VoiceMaster. He also showcased his voice acting talent by imitating famous characters on TV, celebrities and news reporters.


Overall, the public speaking seminar was definitely informative, insightful and meaningful.

The VoiceMaster Speaks at the 1st Central Luzon Hospitality and Entrepreneurship Student Conference

About 400 students from Mabalacat City College in Pampanga were yet again entertained and motivated by Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales, as he spoke in the 1st Central Luzon Hospitality and Entrepreneurship Student Conference on September 25, 2015 at the Azzurro Hotel in Angeles, Pampanga.

With the theme “Today’s Trends are the Motivation,” Pocholo talked about the ever-growing influence of the internet – particularly in social media – to entrepreneurship and leadership, especially among the youth of today. He shared his tips on how to establish one’s brand for business and personal purposes, and how social media can be an ally in doing so. He also talked a little bit about the Generation Z, the generation of his audience, so that they also gain an understanding of the trends in marketing, business and the internet.

The VoiceMaster Speaks at COMEPP’s 25th National Conference

On September 18, 2015, Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales inspired about 600 teachers, school administrators and students at the 25th National Conference of the Council of Management Educators and Practitioners in the Philippines or COMEPP. The VoiceMaster’s talk was about understanding the Generation Z, the young generation that dominates today’s classrooms. He discussed their mindset, behaviors and lifestyle of this group of young people, and shared tips on how to engage them in class. He also discussed the challenges of teachers in this day and age as their students are very exposed to technology and the World Wide Web.

The VoiceMaster left the audience with a heartfelt message about making the most out of life, as he dedicated his talk to one of his dear friends who recently passed. He shared how his inspiration in doing what he loves is death, that he lives each day of his life with the goal of leaving a mark in the lives of the people he touches. This inspiring message pierced through the hearts of his audience, as evidenced by a such words from the participants:

The VoiceMaster Speaks at COMEPP’s 25th National Conference








On September 18, 2015, Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales inspired about 600 teachers, school administrators and students at the 25th National Conference of the Council of Management Educators and Practitioners in the Philippines or COMEPP. The conference was held at the Apo View Hotel in Davao City with the theme “Gearing towards a new vision.”

The VoiceMaster Shares 21st Century Parenting Tips in the Baby and Family Expo 2015

The VoiceMaster is an expert when it comes to voice and communication, but not just for personal or professional development. That’s why in the Baby and Family Expo held last September 5 at the Megatrade Hall, the VoiceMaster shared his knowledge on how to communicate – as a parent.

In his talk “What the Kids Want and Need,” Pocholo shared tips on how to raise happy, confident and kind children in the 21st century. It is no longer a secret that technology has birthed a whole new breed of children whose mindset, lifestyle and behaviors are very different from their parents’ time. That said, parents of today are faced with the challenge of being the last generation of low-tech parents to raise the first generation of high-tech sons and daughters. The VoiceMaster emphasized on communication as the primary tool to keep a healthy relationship between parents and their children. Instead of attempting to control them and keep them away from social media or the internet, understand what they are doing and guide them in using it for their good.


Patrick Gabriel Gonzales gives parenting tips from a kids point of view


For the second half of his talk, the VoiceMaster called onstage his very own son, Patrick Gabriel, to share his insights on how parents can raise happier kids. In his talk entitled, “Dear Parents, Love, Your Kids,” Patrick gave 5 parenting tips from a kid’s point of view. He also showed how much he has been following the footsteps of his dad by giving a sample of his own voice acting talent.


In the end, the audience were amazed and captivated by the father-and-son tandem they have witnessed onstage.
