The VoiceMaster Inspires Nail Technicians in R2 Group of Companies Appreciation Night

The R2 Group of Companies held its very first Appreciation Night on July 6, 2016 at the Berjaya Makati Hotel. Around 50 of their Nail Technicians in one of their salon brands, Nail-A-Holics, were given recognition for their service to the company for 5 to 8 years.

The event started with some opening remarks from R2 Group of Companies CEO, Ramon De Ubago III, better known in the company as RDU. RDU expressed his gratitude for the awardees who have stayed on with the company from its inception from 8 years ago. He also expressed his hope for the awardees to be part of the company’s bright future.


Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales graced the event as the invited motivational speaker. In his talk which he called “8 To Be Great,” the VoiceMaster talked about 8 P’s that represent the qualities that make of a great person. He discussed how great people have puso (passion), paniniwala (belief), pangarap (dream), and pagkakataon (opportunity), among many others. He inspired the audience to serve as an inspiration to the newer Nail Technicians in the company, and to always look at their work from a place of gratitude despite hardships and personal challenges. In support to RDU’s speech, the VoiceMaster encouraged the awardees to become part of fulfilling the vision of the company.

The VoiceMaster Empowers Aspiring Coaches in Negosyo University’s Coaching Business Secrets Seminar

About 200 participants gathered at the Development Academy of the Philippines in Ortigas for a whole day of fun and learning on how to get started on their coaching business, in Negosyo University’s “Coaching Business Secrets” Seminar.

Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales was invited to speak about personal branding and the importance of voice. Despite his hoarse voice, Pocholo still managed to inspire the audience as he shared the story on how he became successful in his chosen field – the voice. Even though he was not able to do any of his infamous character voices on stage, he left the audience in awe and mesmerized with what he has accomplished in the industry, especially being able to mentor and produce a new generation of voice artists through his school, the Philippine Center for Voice Acting.

Pocholo also inspired the audience with his principles regarding life, success, motivation, having a vision and being a mentor. According to him, the greatest people in this world are not those who have accomplished anything on their own, but rather those who have succeeded in bringing others towards success. He then emphasized the importance of being a coach and a mentor, and encouraged everyone to identify their niche as they get started with their coaching business.

Towards the end of his talk, Pocholo shared the stage with one of his students-turned-business-partner, Ada Cuaresma. Ada is the Executive Director of Voice Care Philippines, and is also known as the “Voice Care Queen.” Ada discussed what personal branding is, and how important it is to people who aspire to start their coaching business. She also shared the concept of “vocal image,” and the need to make sure that how a person sounds is aligned to the image they want to project. She ended her talk by sharing how they help improve people’s vocal image through Pocholo’s Voice Coaching business.


Negosyo University was founded by Jon Orana, and they provide seminars and workshops for people who aspire to escape the 8-5 rat race and pursue their own businesses.

The VoiceMaster Inspires the Scholars of Filipino Chinese Business Club in Commencement Speech

On April 23, 2016, Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales was invited as the commencement speaker for the special graduation and induction ceremony for the scholars of Filipino Chinese Business Club. Thirty graduates, together with their parents, and the members of the organization gathered at the Sky One Tower in Binondo, Manila, to celebrate this significant event.

In his talk entitled “Passion Driven Life,” the VoiceMaster shared how to find life’s meaning by doing what you love and loving what you do. He shared his own story of how at a young age, he discovered his gift of voice, has committed his life to doing only things that would enable him to use his voice in order to make other people better and happy. The VoiceMaster then transitioned to talking about finding one’s purpose, and even shared the process of being able to discover your life purpose in as little as 5 minutes! This is done by answering 5 simple yet profound questions that allows a person to discover what they love to do and how other people can benefit from it.


After sharing his story, he encapsulated the life lessons he learned from his experience by sharing some of his personal quotable quotes, which he calls “Pochology 101.” His Pochology include words of wisdom on success, passion and commitment. He shared his favorite Pochology, “Availability is the best ability.” He reminded the audience that none of a person’s skills, talents or even values have any use if they are not present in the moment those skills, talents and values are needed.

Towards the end of his talk, he called onstage his son, Patrick Gabriel Gonzales, the country’s youngest broadcaster and motivational speaker. Patrick captivated and mesmerized the audience as he shared his principles for success. He wowed the crowd with his mature wisdom at the young age of 10!

The VoiceMaster Talks About Voice Acting in Hosting for UST’s Tourism and Hospitality Students

The College of Tourism and Hospitality Management of the University of Sto. Tomas held a Hosting Seminar at the Buenaventura Garcia Paredes, O.P. Building. About 50 students from the college attended the event to learn about the various facets of becoming a great host for events.

Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales spoke about the art of voice acting, and the power of the voice in events hosting. He started by sharing his experience as a voice artist, and how he expanded his skills and talents in voice by venturing into dubbing, radio drama, voiceovers and live events hosting. Of course, his story would not be complete without giving a “sample” of the character voices he has done.


Pocholo also inspired the students to aspire for greatness and excellence in their craft, regardless of which one they choose. He shared how he looks up to National Hero Dr. Jose Rizal, who believed that the youth is the hope of the nation. But for Pocholo, he believes that now is the time for the youth to be the REALIZATION and not just the hope.

All of them are members of the Microphone Club, an organization of professional microphone users (hosts, voice artists, broadcasters, public speakers, etc.) whose mission is to professionalize their craft through training and peer-to-peer mentoring. Pochology Academy’s Public Speaking Talk for UP’s Alternative Class Learning Experience

On March 31st, the University of the Philippines, Diliman held an afternoon of Alternative Class Learning Experience all over the campus. This is an opportunity for the students to attend mini-workshops and classes that are relevant to life skills they need and want to develop.


Voice Care Queen Ada Cuaresma Talks About Public Speaking


One of Pochology Academy’s trainers, and Voice Care Philippines’ Executive Director Ada Cuaresma was one of the speakers of the ACLE organized by the UP Association of Civil Engineers. In the seminar dubbed as “PUMP UP 2016,” Ada conducted a workshop on public speaking, and how the students can use the skill in their student and professional lives.


UP ACES PUMP UP 2016Ada started by sharing her own story on how she became a public speaker – from taking up a Voice Acting workshop, to volunteering her voice for various advocacies through radio broadcasting, training and motivational speaking. She shared how she has found her life’s calling through public speaking, as she feels a strong mission in her heart to use her voice to inspire and motivate others. Ada motivated the students to do the same, and to not let fear stop them from pursuing what they would like to do.


Ada transitioned into discussing the basics of public speaking – the reasons why people fear speaking in public, how to use the voice effectively in public speaking, and how to connect with the audience when speaking. She also shared about their volunteer organization, Voice of the Youth Network, and invited the participants to join in their advocacy on giving the youth a voice on issues that affect them.


PUMP UP 2016 also featured 2 other speakers, who spoke about Business Writing and Financing.

The VoiceMaster Comes Home to Inspire Graduates in his Pre-School

The Saint Nicholas Child Care Center Learning Center of Mariveles celebrated its Commencement Exercises and Recognition Rites at the Mariveles Peoples’ Park on March 30, 2016. About 50 students – together with their parents, relatives and teachers – gathered to celebrate this significant moment in the students’ lives.

Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales was invited as the Commencement Speaker for the event. As an alumnus of the school during his pre-school years, Pocholo shared how he is delighted to be reunited with his former teachers and to be able to inspire the youth in his own hometown. In his talk which he called “I Heart M.A.R.I.V.E.L.E.S.,” Pocholo shared his meaning of the town’s name by giving each letter a meaning to motivate the students to become great and excellent citizens of the country. He took a trip down memory lane by sharing how Mariveles became his roots for developing his voice, until he moved to Manila to become one of the most respected and the greatest in his work. Pocholo also shared his talent to the audience by showcasing a repertoire of character voices he has done.


Pocholo also recognized and thanked the people who shaped his life – his family, relatives, and former teachers. He encouraged the students to always look back to what formed their skills, passions and values, no matter how far they get to go in their life’s journey.

One of the highlights of his talks was when he called his own son onstage, Patrick Gabriel Gonzales. Patrick, the country’s youngest broadcaster and motivational speaker, inspired the students by sharing his life principles. He mesmerized the audience with his wit, voice acting talent, and moving words of wisdom.

Pocholo ended his speech with a “vision exercise,” where each student projected into the future and congratulated each other for having been successful in their own chosen field. He then asked the graduates to approach their teachers and parents, hug them, and thank them for the hard work and dedication of putting them through to school.

The VoiceMaster Speaks in Pampanga for “Juanders of Marketing”

The Junior Managers and Marketing Council of the Systems Plus College Foundation in Angeles City, Pampanga held its first Marketing 101 seminar entitled “Juanders of Marketing” on March 19, 2016. The event aimed to develop students as future marketing professionals and business leaders of the country through the featured speakers who shared their hands-on experience and life lessons in their respective fields.

Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales was one of the speakers during the event. In his talk entitled, “Innovation is my Motivation,” Pocholo talked largely about having the right mindset when it comes to marketing and being a marketing professional. He inspired the youth to develop the mindset of an innovator, which means that they have to constantly think about self-development and improvement. He advised the participants to become “futurists” – to act today with the future in mind.


Pocholo also shared his own personal journey towards innovating himself and establishing his brand as the VoiceMaster. He told of how he started as a voice artist to becoming an icon of his own industry, not because of his talent, but because of how he has honed and developed the skills and talents of other people. He also talked about how he has founded one of the largest volunteer youth organizations in the country, Voice of the Youth Network, and why young people hold a special place in his heart.

The VoiceMaster Speaks at the Success Speakers Club Workshop

Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales has inspired and motivated about a dozen of the “Ambassador” members of Arun Gogna’s Success Speakers Club on March 10, 2016 at the AIM Conference Center. Success Speakers Club is an international organization where members get to learn all about public speaking through newsletters, video courses and live workshops.

The 2-hour workshop started with Pocholo’s inspirational talk about the importance and the power of the voice, not only in public speaking, but even in everyday life. He shared his own story about how he used his voice not only to create character voices but also to inspire, motivate and empower his fellow Filipinos. He also gave the participants a “glimpse” of the future, and how the voice would remain to be the human race’s most powerful tool no matter how much and how fast technology may evolve.


After Pocholo’s talk, he called on stage Ada Cuaresma, also known as the “Voice Care Queen”. Ada did a mini-workshop about the role of the voice in public speaking. With the premise that “it’s not WHAT you say, but HOW you say it,” Ada focused on how the elements of the voice can be used to create what is called vocal variety. Vocal variety is about using the elements of voice to bring a speech to life. Ada also explained the concept of vocal image, and encouraged the participants to consider their voice as part of their entire image as a public speaker. She also discussed voice projection and tone, and had the participants go through exercises to simulate how the voice affects and alters the meaning of their speeches.

The workshop ended with a Q&A where Pocholo and Ada answered questions about taking care of the voice, and shared their best practices on how to use the voice in a proper way.

The VoiceMaster Inspires his Fellow Volunteers at the Go Volunteer Expo

On March 5 and 6, 2016, iVolunteer Philippines held a 2-day event to celebrate volunteerism in the Go Volunteer Expo 2016. The 2-day event was filled with activities, talks and performances from various volunteer organizations. Hundreds of volunteers joined the event that was held at the Glorietta Activity Center.

Speakers from various volunteer organizations were invited to inspire and motivate the volunteers who attended the expo. Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales capped off the expo as the last speaker. In his talk, “My L.I.F.E. as a Volunteer,” the VoiceMaster shared his experience as a volunteer for over 20 years – as a voice artist, broadcaster, youth advocate and motivational speaker – and how volunteering has helped him become a leader and an inspiration, especially to his fellow youth. He told of his story about how he started in his voice acting career, how he championed a competition on radio among 10,000 auditionees, and how he has volunteered and lent his voice to various projects, all for his love for the craft. Of course, the VoiceMaster had to showcase a few of those character voices, which really entertained the audience. Pocholo also acknowledged the members of his volunteer organization, Voice of the Youth Network, who were present during the expo.


The highlight of Pocholo’s talk was when he called onstage his son, Patrick Gabriel, to also inspire the audience with his own experience as a volunteer. As the country’s youngest broadcaster and motivational speaker, Patrick shared his “volunteerism principles,” wise words from a 10-year-old. “I have been volunteering ever since I was a fetus… and you all do too. We volunteer to walk, we volunteer to talk, I volunteered to stand here and talk to you, and you volunteered to sit there to listen to me. That’s why we have voluntary muscles.” Patrick mesmerized the audience with his wit and genius in the few minutes that he was onstage.

The VoiceMaster Inspires Teachers to Master their Voice

On March 4th, over 500 teachers from all over Metro Manila and nearby provinces filled the Marikina Convention Center to participate on the first day of St. Matthew’s Publishing’s event, dubbed as “UnlockED 2016.” As a pioneer in the educational publishing industry for preschool and elementary school books in the Philippines, St. Matthew’s Publishing holds this annual event to unlock the potentials of the teachers as well as to maximize their skills as educators. With this year’s theme “Designing Dynamic Learning Environments,” the seminar featured speakers that teach the participants various ways to make learning fun through creativity.

Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales was the last speaker, who spoke about one of his advocacies, VOICE CARE FOR TEACHERS. In his hour-and-a-half talk, he emphasized the importance of the voice as a teacher’s primary tool in carrying out their teaching vocation. Pocholo discussed the different factors that made teachers prone to voice problems, and gave tools, exercises and techniques that would help them prevent voice problems in the future with the proper production of the voice.


Another important part of Pocholo’s talk was about mastering the voice, and how teachers can consciously cultivate habits that will not only prevent them from developing voice problems, but also how they can use their voice effectively in teaching today’s youth – also known as the Generation Z – who easily get distracted and bored, and have a short attention span of 4-6 seconds. He also shared his knowledge in voice acting, which teachers can also utilize in the classroom to make their teaching fun, memorable and meaningful. The VoiceMaster proved how voice acting can make a huge difference in engaging learners, by showcasing his own voice acting prowess.

Pocholo is the founder of Voice Care Philippines, a training organization whose mission is to equip professional voice users, like teachers, with the knowledge and tools to “save their voice and save their career”. His high respect for the teaching profession, as well as his innate passion for teaching, Pocholo prioritized the teachers in this advocacy, thus, creating the first-ever voice care workshop called “Voice Care for Teachers,” which he also wrote a book on with the same title. Voice Care Philippines also has voice care workshops for call center agents, as well as sales and marketing professionals.

The VoiceMaster Inspires Future Innovators in Mindoro

On February 29, 2016, ComGuild held the 1st Regional Power Conference of IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Education and Social Science Students in Mindoro State College of Agriculture and Technology in Bongabong, Oriental Mindoro. With the theme “Innovations, Social Awareness and Responsibilities in the Digital Age,” the conference aimed to educate the students on the many ways to innovate, especially in the age of internet, social media and touchscreens.

As early as the beginning of the event, the audience was immediately energized by the first speaker, Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales. Pocholo, with his repertoire of character voices, impersonations and “hugot lines,” had the crowd roaring in laughter and amazement. In his talk entitled “Innovate Yourself Today,” the VoiceMaster inspired the students to become innovators in their own way. He introduced the concept of being a FUTURIST – someone whose actions are based on the future they intend to create. One of his quotable quotes from the talk was “Do something today that your future self will thank you for.” He reminded the audience to be more intentional with their future, and that knowing how to innovate will get them there.


Pocholo went on to share his personal journey towards becoming the VoiceMaster of the Philippines, and how innovation has helped a lot in getting them there. From being a voice artist to radio broadcaster to motivational speaker, Pocholo has learned to innovate his personal brand by taking existing concepts in his fields of expertise and doing something new. Pocholo also learned to develop the learner mindset, where he continuously acquires new knowledge and skills in line with his interests and passion. He encouraged the students to use their youthfulness to your own advantage by becoming an inspiration to other people.

Pochology Academy Holds Voice Acting Workshop at the University of Rizal System

In celebration of National Arts Month, the University Center for Culture & the Arts in partnership with University Supreme Student Council of University of Rizal System conducted a Voice Acting seminar-workshop, held at the Blanco Family Academy in Angono, Rizal on February 26, 2016.


With the theme “Fostering Artistic Excellence through Dynamic Involvement and Contagious Expertise,” the event was designed to educate the students on the power of their voice in professional and personal relations, as well as to cultivate their artistry through the use of their most powerful human instrument.

As the country’s most recognized and respected voice artist, Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales was invited to facilitated the whole-day workshop. He brought along with him 2 of his trainers and protégé’s from Pochology Academy – Voice Care Queen Ada Cuaresma and Voice Monster Andrew San Fernando.


After the opening ceremonies, not to mention a superb medley performance by an acapella group, the workshop opened with a motivational talk by the VoiceMaster. After entertaining the audience with his numerous character voices and a repertoire of “hugot lines,” the VoiceMaster inspired the students by sharing his story on how he used he has, for 20 years, used his talents and skills to make other people better and happy. He shared his stories of challenges, setbacks, obstacles and victories that made him who he is today, the “Man BEHIND a thousand voices”. He encouraged the students to not waste their youth or wait for the “right time” to discover and pursue their passion, because the right time is always NOW. He left a powerful message to “do something today that your future self will thank you for.”

She talked about the importance of voice in everyday life, that it’s HOW WE SAY things that is important in building personal and professional relationships. She covered 2 important things about the voice. First is vocal power, where she used exercises to help participants produce their voice with more power, confidence and efficiency. The second thing is vocal variety, where, by learning to use the various elements of the voice, words spoken become more meaningful, engaging and memorable.


Andrew was the last speaker, who talked about voice acting. He taught the participants how to “play” with their voice – by exploring pitch, pitch character and tempo. He also taught them how to include human reactions in the context of voice acting, such as laughter, cry, trips and falls, and even eating and drinking sounds. Towards the end of the voice acting module, Andrew called some volunteers to do a “fun dub”. The volunteers performed a quick dub of an excerpt from the cartoons Voltes V.


At the end of the workshop, the VoiceMaster also announced that URS will be heading the establishment of Voice of the Youth Network in Rizal, where the students get the opportunity to become volunteers to VOTY’s radio shows.

The VoiceMaster Inspires IT Students in the First Into IT Convention (In2ition)

While many people went on a holiday on February 25th, Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales went on to do what he does best – inspire and motivate the youth. Pocholo was the last speaker on the first ever Into IT Convention, held at the Tanghalang Haribon of Insular Life Corporate Center in Alabang.

Hundreds of IT students from various schools in the Muntinlupa and Las Pinas area gathered to listen to speakers invited to speak in line with the theme “Raising a new breed of responsible Filipino netizens.”


The last speaker – which turned out to be the highlight of the afternoon – was Pocholo’s talk entitled “The Future Me.” After a much-needed energizer for the participants, Pocholo started his talk by asking the participants to imagine that they are in year 2030, and to tell the person next to them who they are, what they’re doing and what they have achieved. The main purpose of this activity is to challenge the students’ minds to project and imagine their future so that they can create it. As the VoiceMaster always say, “Do something today your future self will thank you for.”


Pocholo shared his own story of how he has envisioned himself as the VoiceMaster way back when he was 16 years old, and was just auditioning to become a radio drama talent in DZMM. He also shared how he got started with dubbing and voice acting, and his realization that he wanted to do more outside of the recording studio, which got him into training and motivational speaking. Of course, his “voice artist story” would not be complete without mesmerizing the audience with his repertoire of character voices!

He called onstage 2 of Voice of the Youth Networks’ members and broadcasters – DJ Denn and DJ Elaine – anchors of Generation Y&Z Radio in Radyo Inquirer. DJ Denn and DJ Elaine each shared how and why they got into joining the volunteer organization, and how their passions drives them to inspire and motivate their fellow youth.


Perhaps the highlight of the talk was when Pocholo called onstage his own son, Patrick Gabriel Gonzales. Patrick is the youngest broadcaster and motivational speaker in the country, at 10 years old. He opened his speech by doing the voice of Russell from Disneys “Up,” and then went on to share his motivational tips on how to be productive young people. Patrick amazed and captivated the audience with words of inspiration like “fail your way to success.”

The VoiceMaster Inspires the Youth to Create the Future

The College of Tourism and Hospitallity Management of De La Salle University – Dasmarinas conducted a seminar entitled “Road to Building Personality Growth and Image Enhancement” on February 24, 2016 at the Orchard Golf and Country Club in Dasmarinas, Cavite. Hundreds of students from the said college filled the event venue to be inspired and motivated by the invited speakers.

The last speaker of the event was Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales, who talked about creating “The Future Me”. Inspired by the famous 80’s film “Back to the Future,” the VoiceMaster challenged the students to think as if this is the year 2030. “Tell the person next to you what you are now (year 2030) – your career, how successful you are, what you have achieved.” He motivated the students to push their minds to the limit, projecting and feeling being successful in their chosen path.


During his talk, Pocholo shared how he has envisioned himself as the “VoiceMaster” way back when he was 16 years old. He told of his journey as a voice artist, youth advocate, and motivational speaker, and how he has responded to his life’s calling to make other people better and happy by using his greatest weapon – the VOICE. Recognizing that one of the biggest challenges, especially of today’s youth, is discovering what they want in life, Pocholo gave them a simple, 5-question formula for discovering their life’s purpose. “It all starts with knowing what you can do, and ends with finding out how that can change the lives of others.”

At the end of his talk, Pocholo shared his favorite “Pochology” (words of wisdom of Pocholo Gonzales) – “The best ability is AVAILABILITY.” It’s his way of saying that your talent and skills will go a long way only if you seize the opportunities to use them.

Pochology Academy Holds Speech Training for PUP’s Mr. and Ms. Marketing World 2016

On February 11, 15 finalists of PUP’s Mr. and Miss Marketing World 2016 went to the Creativoices studio in Makati to go through a speech training offered by Pochology Academy and Microphone Club. The speech training aims to develop the communication skills of the contestants by improving their voice, stage presence, and their self-confidence.

Two of Pochology Academy trainers facilitated the half-day workshop: Ada Cuaresma and JC Garcia. The workshop started with an introduction and setting of expectations with the participants. Ada then facilitated the training on voice, teaching the finalists how to properly use their body in order for their voice to come out with ease yet with power. She led them through a series of exercises on posture and breathing – which would help the contestants not only for their voice use, but also for their presence onstage during the pageant. There was also a vocal workout that the participants learned that they can use to also relax their body and voice prior to the contest.


After the voice training, JC gave a motivational talk to increase their self-confidence and help them combat their stage fright. He gave them exercises on self-affirmation, and also gave tips on how to stand and project themselves on stage.


The highlight of the workshop was when each participant did a practice run of a pageant’s Q&A portion. It was then that they were given tips on how to properly hold the microphone, how to connect with the audience while answering their question, and the formula for explaining their answers.

The VoiceMaster’s Back-to-Back-to-Back-to-Back Talks on STI National Youth Convention

The Manila leg of the 21st STI College National Youth Convention was held on February 2-5 at the Aliw Theater in CCP Complex, Pasay City. Tens of thousands of STI students from all over NCR and nearby provinces in Northern and Southern Luzon gathered to learn about the convention’s theme “I Will Innovate.” Each session featured 3 speakers, each one speaking about different facets of innovation: spirit, character, and creativity.

Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales has inspired more than 5,000 STI students as one of the speakers on both morning and afternoon sessions of the convention’s third and fourth day. With the topic, “Innovator’s Creativity,” the VoiceMaster talked about how innovation is a mindset more than it is an idea executed into a product or service. His talk was a combination of energetic humor, inspiring stories, memorable “hugot lines” and lessons to develop the mindset of an innovator. He motivated the audience to innovate not only their ideas, but also their own personality. He set himself as an example as to how he has continually developed himself especially when it comes to the voice – expanding his capabilities not only in voice acting, but also in broadcasting, training and motivational speaking.

The VoiceMaster also motivated the participants to be innovators not only for themselves but for the good of the country. He also encouraged them to become like Dr. Jose Rizal, and to use their available resources to be able to make a difference in the society, just like our national hero did despite his lack of technology and freedom.


The VoiceMaster also entertained the audience with his voice acting superpowers, imitating their favorite cartoon characters and celebrities.

Towards the end of each session, the VoiceMaster gave his last message to the audience and reminded them to pursue their passion while they are young, and to never waste an opportunity to be an inspiration to their fellow youth.

Pochology Academy Talk on E-Business

On January 19, 2016, the 4th year Financial Management students of Colegio de San Juan de Letran in Manila organized a seminar entitled “SMARTCLICK: Sign Up for the Future”. Smartclick aims to encourage students to get into online business, and to study what it takes to start one.

Voice Care Philippines’ Executive Director and one of Pochology Academy’s trainers, Ada Cuaresma, was the first speaker of the event. In her talk entitled “E-Business Made E-asy,” Ada started on a motivational note by sharing her story on how she shifted from living an ordinary life to living her dreams and inspiring other people. She also shared the life lessons she learned in her journey.


Ada then proceeded to giving an introduction about e-business, and how the internet has transformed the way marketing and business are done. She introduced the conept of “Information Marketing,” and how the internet allowed businesses to sell their products through education, and not through direct advertising.

At the end of her talk, Ada reminded the participants that when starting a business – traditional or online – it is best to consider their passion. She encouraged them to discover what they are deeply passionate about, and eventually turn that into profit.

The VoiceMaster Inspires Foreign Language Learners

On January 17, 2016, Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales paid visit to a class in the Connoisseur World Language Institute in Lipa City, Batangas to inspire the students.

In his short but sweet talk, Pocholo talked about GREATNESS – how everyone was born to be successful, with all that they need in order to achieve their goals. He reminded everyone of their dreams, of what they have always wanted to be, and encouraged them to act on those dreams.


Pocholo also talked about the power of the voice, and how – together with language/speech – it is the most essential skill of humankind: the ability to communicate. He inspired the students, who are learning foreign languages, to not only learn another language for its monetary potential, but more importantly, to be able to inspire others towards excellence and success.

On January 16, 2015, The Adamson Junior Marketing Association held their seminar entitled “Marketing Institute 2016: Level Up your Marketing Prowess”. About 200 Junior and Senior Marketing students of Adamson University gathered to learn about different aspects of marketing from the invited speakers.

Ada Cuaresma, Voice Care Philippines’ Executive Director and one of Pochology Academy’s trainers, was the first speaker of the event. She presented her talk entitled “Project Management Simplified: FOCUS your Way to Project Management Success.” Ada started her presentation by sharing her inspiring story, on how she shifted from living an average life to discovering and living her calling in life. She motivated the students to discover their own passion and take steps to fulfill it now because “It is never too late – or too early – to become what you might have been.”


Ada then went on to discuss about project management. She presented the complex web of Project Management into a simplified yet helpful system – defining what a project is, understanding the key elements of a project, and 5 tips on how to have “FOCUS” and succeed in Project Management. At the end of the talk, she looped back to discussing about life, and how it is everyone’s biggest project. She linked the lessons in Project Management to how they can be applied in life.

The VoiceMaster Inspires Future Innovators in Cebu

Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales has yet again inspired hundreds of youth in the Cebu leg of the 21st STI National Youth Convention on January 12, 2016 at the CAP Center in Cebu City.

With his talk entitled “The Innovator’s Creativity,” the VoiceMaster stepped on stage and energized the crowd with his introductory icebreaker and funny banters. He then went on to share his own story, on how he has continuously innovated to build his business, found his advocacies and establish his brand as the VoiceMaster.


As he began speaking about innovation, Pocholo gave a simple yet powerful idea on how to develop the mindset of an innovator. For the VoiceMaster, it is of utmost importance to think like an innovator in order to come up with innovative ideas, whether for business or for personal use.


The VoiceMaster also inspired the students to keep their imagination alive, and to have a vision for themselves and for the community. He explained that innovation is not just about ideas. More importantly, innovation is about having the HEART… the passion to make the world a better place. And that is his challenge to the participants: to innovate for positive social change.
