The Filipino Speaker at Animahenasyon 2014

The name Pocholo Gonzales has long been synonymous with “voice acting” in the Philippines, which he has proven yet again in the Animahenasyon 2014 conference organized by the Animation Council of the Philippines last November 27, 2014 at the iAcademy School in Makati City. Pocholo spoke to 50 students about voice acting for animation as one of the speakers in their break out session.

During the talk, Pocholo highlighted the Filipino voice artists who showed world-class talents by voicing international video games such as Ghost Squad and the famous Sega game Transformers. He also showcased his own talents by doing the voices of the characters he himself has voiced over the years. More importantly, the VoiceMaster inspired and motivated the students to be “LEAD their dreams” – as he loves to say – and become an inspiration to their fellow youth.

ComGuild's 6th Annual Conference of IT and Computer Science Students of the Philippines

More than 700 students filled the Henry-Lee Irwin Theater of the Ateneo de Manila University for the 6th Annual Conference of Information Technology and Computer Science Students of the Philippines on November 23, 2014. With the theme “Technology: A Tool for Social Development," VoiceMaster of the Philippines Pocholo Gonzales spoke to the participants about the importance of voice in Information and Communications Technology or ICT.








 Having been a voice artist, broadcaster and motivational speaker for 20 years, Pocholo gave a perspective of the now and then of voice overs. He shared his experiences in dubbing and voicing for anime, video games, audiobooks and radio drama, and how these different forms of communication evolve together with the development of technology and the internet. Furthermore, he also inspired and motivated the audience with “Pochology 101” – his words of wisdom on life and the world.

The VoiceMaster in the 18th CECON National Conference

Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales inspired and motivated hundreds of students in the 18th National Conference of The Council of Economics Educators Inc., held at the Albertus Magnus Auditorium of the University of Santo Tomas on November 21, 2014.








In line with the theme “Economics of Education: Responding to a Multi-Diverse Issues of 2014,” the VoiceMaster spoke about Understanding the Generation Z. He discussed the characteristics of the generation of young people born from 1994-2010, how they behave and how technology has influenced them in their daily life. He also shared about Voice of the Youth Network, the organization that he founded in line with his advocacy on youth empowerment.

Patrick Gonzales is the Country’s Youngest Broadcaster and Motivational Speaker

Patrick Gabriel Z. Gonzales, son of the VoiceMaster of the Philippines Pocholo Gonzales, is the youngest broadcaster and motivational speaker in the country. At the age of 8, he has already wowed lots of people because of his talent. In fact, he was able to speak in front of thousands of youth during a youth convention in Pasay City last August 3.


Patrick has a show every Sunday on DWDD 1134 kHz Katropa, at 10am. His show is called “Voice of the Children Radio.”

The VoiceMaster as the Youth Ambassador for Peace

 The VoiceMaster has done it again… this time, in front of 10,000 students from 11 countries for the 2nd International Youth Assembly held at the Cuneta Astrodome, Pasay City on August 3, 2014.




Pocholo talked about the art of voice acting, and also captivated the audience when he showcased the many voices he has done for commercials and cartoons. He even did a live radio drama in front of the audience, where he created an entire story and did 5 different voices and all the sound effects all by himself! The highlight of his talk was when he shared the stage his son, Patrick Gabriel Gonzales, to deliver his own motivational talk.








 The VoiceMaster was awarded as a Youth Ambassador for World Peace by the Universal Peace Federation and Youth Federation for World Peace.

Voice of the Youth Network unites aspiring radio drama artists

Voice of the Youth (VOTY) Network, headed by its founder Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales, united aspiring voice artists for a drama show on Boses Kabataan Radio show which airs regularly on DZRH.








 The team started accepting applications last April while the official meeting took place last July 12, 2013 at DZRH. Discussed in the said meeting were the future agenda and other plans of the group.


The creation of this radio drama team is another big step for VOTY since it is also highly-involved with voice acting. To date, VOTY has already produced a couple of radio shows where talents of young people in the field of voice acting are showcased. A number of  active VOTY members are also graduates of VoiceWorx: Voice Acting and Basic Dubbing Workshop under CreatiVoices Productions, where The VoiceMaster is CEO.

VoiceMaster talks about voice acting in Internat’l Film Expo

Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales gave on “The Art of Voice Acting for Animation, Gaming, and Film” in the IFX International Film Expo, which took place from June 27 to 29 at the SMX Convention Center.

IFX aims “to improve the national film industry by making local and international film production companies, film schools, and other services accessible to filmmakers.” Lots of companies and learning institutions that have something to do with film and film making participated in the event, making it this year’s largest film market event in the Philippines.


 Apart from the VoiceMaster, other speakers who were also considered big names in the industry gave their talks, too, and shared their knowledge to the audience.

The VoiceMaster Inspires Fresh Voices in Student Summit

Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales inspired the students of the De la Salle-College of St. Benilde through his talk on voice acting during the the First Student Summit last January 10, 2014.


For years now, The VoiceMaster has been known for his inspiring talks most especially in front of students. Apart from that, he is also known for encouraging young individuals to take the necessary steps and pursue their dreams in voice acting despite their young age.
